Navigation views show two property pages in the right pane when you select them:
You can manipulate Navigation views in some of the same ways that you can in Windows Explorer. The changes that you make are saved between PowerUser sessions.
To open or close a folder:
To sort documents in a Navigation view based on a particular column:
To adjust the width of a column:
To change the order or visibility of columns:
Press and hold the Ctrl key while right-clicking a column heading. The Configure Columns dialog box appears.
In addition to the preceding actions, you may also filter the documents shown in the following view types based on the property values of the documents that are shown in the view:
You do this by defining a filter similar to defining a filter in Microsoft Excel.
Note Filters are disabled when the Load Navigation view data on demand option is enabled as described in Setting advanced options.
To filter a view based on the values of the columns that are shown:
Clear the property values that you do not want shown in the view and click OK. The view is refreshed to show only those documents that have the selected property values. A filter icon appears in the column header to indicate that a filter is active. NEW The icon also appears in the context bar to indicate that a filter is active that might not be visible without scrolling the view pane horizontally.
Enable Remember this filter to retain the filter settings between sessions. The filter will also be applied to the other views that can be filtered.
To remove a filter on a column:
